Braintree Solution Consulting, Inc. is looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual with an expertise in public health and healthcare systems, a desire to learn and an interest in contributing to the company's success. We are in search of a dynamic individual to work on several consulting projects that cover issues within chronic disease, maternal and child health, infectious diseases and health systems management. Braintree's clients include cities, states, and federal and international clients in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 combined years of experience with health care systems management, research and public health policy analysis.

Principal Responsibilities: This individual will be responsible for gathering and analyzing information on programs and resources in the fields of chronic disease, maternal and child health, and broader issues in health management. Specific areas of focus include cancer, HIV/AIDS, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, tuberculosis, malaria, infant mortality, school health, children with special health care needs, and other associated topics. The successful applicant will be expected to master and protect a proprietary analytical methodology and its application to the health topics listed above. The person in this position will also conduct research on and initiate contact with potential new clients in a business development capacity.

Position Qualifications: The Health Systems Consultant position is mid-level. The candidate must be self-motivated and detail-oriented. Applicants must have exceptional writing skills, excellent verbal communication skills and a strong customer service orientation. Person should work well both independently and in a team environment. A minimum of 5 combined years of experience researching and analyzing public health issues that led to conference workshops, large-scale healthcare systems management improvements, the publishing of "best practice" reports and/or needs assessments required. A background that includes experience in organizational development and management is preferred but not required. Graduate degree preferred. The applicant must have a demonstrated commitment to nonpartisan, non-ideological objective research and an ability to work with a diverse group of foundations, community-based organizations, researchers, and governmental agencies. Experience with databases, the graphical display of information and web page development a plus.
